“Dear Friends And Enemies,” - titled as a letter of intent - is the final Big Heavy Stuff album. And their definitive statement.

Heralded by the epic - and also final - single “Mutiny”, this was where the band put all their creative ducks in a row, sniffing the change in the air and doubling down on their strengths both as a live band and explorers of studio possibilities.

On the 20th anniversary of the original album release, Love As Fiction Records in association with the band are releasing the album on vinyl for the first time, expanded with a download code for a complete early mix of the album direct from their archive.

“Naked Friends And Enemies” is the complete album , bar one track not originally tracked, mixed by Wayne Connolly before the group took these early takes and built the “cathedral” that became DFAE.

Released and remastered on 2LP black audiophile vinyl (original album + 2 bonus mixes), 2CD and double cassette (both DFAE/NFAE - all extremely limited numbers), this a treat for fans in-the-know and a serious/immersive/fun way for fresh listeners to discover the timeless songs that somehow fell through the cracks of other music trends from the time of its original issue.
